GUILD

From Behind the Scenes to Center Stage

GUILD’s projects are built to be talked about—my job was to make sure they were. By aligning PR efforts with the firm’s business development goals, we ensured every press hit, social post, and industry accolade doubled as a lead-generation tool. I also embedded marketing insights directly into the creative process, ensuring campaigns were informed by analytics, audience trends, and competitor benchmarks.

This approach transformed marcomm from a support function into a strategic growth engine—positioning GUILD not just as a service provider, but as a thought leader in the evolving landscape of experiential design.

Designing Experiences, Building Influence

With offices in New York, Los Angeles, and Portland, GUILD is not just a design-build firm—it’s a creative powerhouse known for crafting immersive, brand-defining experiences. From high-concept pop-ups to architectural installations, their work transforms spaces into stories, leaving a lasting impact on audiences and clients alike.

From 2019 to 2020, I led marketing communications for GUILD, overseeing a 360° strategy that blended owned media, earned media, and industry relations to drive both external visibility and internal alignment. The mission was clear: amplify GUILD’s voice, showcase its signature projects, and position the firm as a leader in experiential design.

Our marcomm strategy operated on four interconnected pillars—Internal Communications, Social Media, Media Relations, and Community Relations—designed to create a seamless omnichannel narrative:

  • Elevating owned media by streamlining social publishing, boosting SEO, and turning GUILD’s website into a real-time portfolio and press hub.

  • Securing earned media through targeted PR outreach, placing GUILD’s work in leading design, architecture, and marketing publications.

  • Cultivating industry credibility by managing award submissions, speaking engagements, and thought leadership placements.

  • Activating community connections via events, partnerships, and cross-industry collaborations
